    New Machines comming out

has anyone found out how the new machines will look like? I hear its a total new
design. The paper exit will be to the right of the machine rather than the left
and they got rid of the finishers and using the toshiba finishers. All the
copiers will have the 620/820 frames.

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS COMPLETELY FROM MEMORY OF A CONVERSATION I HAD MORE THEN A FEW MONTHS BACK, MY MEMORY IS SOMETIME SHITTY SO DON'T TAKE THIS TO BE FACT.
This op panel will be on everything from around 35-40cpm and up. on machines above 55-60 ppm the op panel will be on a pedestal and It will be on the front right of the smaller framed machines. the touchscreen is about 10" wide.

I think the blacked out key on the lower left will be for a fax key.

600k pm cycles with even more ease of maintenance.

the falcon series replacement will feed up the right side and then into a similar exit area. The finisher I saw was hanging off the left side of the machine and I think there was a transport section that got the paper from right to left across the exit area.

    No slide-out QWERTY keyboards.
Everything I saw looked good but this is the only picture I could dig up. I will check my notebook to see if I wrote anything down at the time.

Not in Dallas. I've heard that the training center is shut down. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

We have some of the Smarttech. You can do the training on line in about half an hour. They claim maitenance with no screwdrivers. If that doesn't send a chill up your spine I don't know what will.
