Taskalfa 250ci/utax CDC 1725 status page and ver 11 firmware.

As usual we've been doing the latest firmware with the suggested changes in simulation mode 147, 464 etc. Not all the time but on a couple of machines after the upgrade the status page is very feint, the copies and prints, registration and auto grey printouts are fine just the status page- any takers ? Also on some of these machines they are using more waste toner bottles than come supplied with the toners?
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

You know, I sure would have liked to have seen the TASKalfa platform perfected before advanced to the next incarnation. This wondrous micro-fine toner seems to be a difficult beast to keep in it's cage.

No, I can't help, but you have my sympathy. I'll be watching any responses. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Interesting. I have a 300ci I updated to 11 recently and it does the same thing.. all copies, print jobs and scan are fine. only internal prints, almost unreadable..I had a ton of svc. calls that day and did not have time to pursue it and it's not affecting the customer .If I can get my hands on it I'll revert it back a notch and see what happens..

What a great idea! If the new firmware works badly, downgrade it. =^..^=

            Hi all

I'm looking for the firmware for a UTAX CDC1725 if anyone can help?

Reason for upgrade is I have installed a new dev unit but get error C7401!

I have swapped the old dev unit little PCB to the new dev unit but same error occurs.

              Hi all,

Is not the most recent version 13 for the firmware update??

If all else fails read the Service Manual!

If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it.
