    C-2000 Kyocera Taskalf 520i

    Has anyone seen this, I have a TASKalf 520i that wil run 30 to 50 copies than you get a C-2000 code Drive motor failure. I'm at a lost this copier is only two months old with about 128,000 copies on it!

    I'm still having problems with this copier, swap out main motor, PWB board, checked wirring, what else power supply!!!

      Haven't seen it on the taskalfa, but I have seen this code come up repetitively on the FS-9530. We replaced the drum unit and never saw the code again. I would check your motor drive assembly to make sure there are no missing teeth in there, and nothing is binding up, if you haven't already.

        Sorry, I can't help. That's one code that I haven't seen. =^..^=
        If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          try checking the left hand door interlock switch i think its the same as a falcon1 and 2 and if the actuator doesnt quite hit the microswitch you will get that code. good luck

            Yes, replace the drum

                This copier has benn shut down since end of May, its in a School so I suspect we still have this issue to deal with!

                  I had one with same issue, was the drum unit starting to seize, replaced drum unit and fixed
