    [Jamming] Taskalfa 500ci/ Finisher

I seem to be posting too often lately and not answering posts instead. Been to alot of schools lately so maybe I' not focused right now..Well, I have a 500ci with a 3000 sheet finisher that records alot of Jam88 codes ( main tray eject ). I have not been able to reproduce or even see it happen, but it's there in the event log. Anyone see this often? I have a new sensor coming but anything you guys have seen on a regular basis? See alot of other finisher jams but not J88..

    Try firmware.

The closest that I've got for you is J87, caused by one of the plastic inlet guides to the stapling tray breaking off the rear post.

I'd also check that the stapled set eject belt is functioning properly. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Tell them to quit leaning on or sitting on the finisher as they are copying seems to fix a lot of finisher jams in the TA line....
