    [CQ] Taskalfa 300ci toner contamination issue

    I have a Taskalfa 300ci which has ongoing issues but today i spotted something that i believe others have missed........heavy MCY contamination but not BK.......several ITU belts for its age.......charge rollers (colour) constantly contaminating........Printhead slit-glasses contaminating BUT today i noticed that the CMY drum motors never turn off!

    My gut-feeling is that the Motor control board is faulty or maybe even the Engine board?

    The Firmware is at version 2H7_2F00.011.006 dated 2010.12.14

    Any ideas please?

      I'm leaning toward the motor control board myself.

      Has the main drive been out of this machine? It is extremely easy to pinch a wire to one of the drum motors, and create very deceptive symptoms. If you've had several techs in the back of this machine, I would make sure that the harasses are routed properly. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Thanks. I need to do a bit more investigating as unsure if anyone has had the main drive out
