[CQ] TASKalfa 300ci Lead Edge void

Wonder if anyone has a fix for the following?

We have a TASKalfa 300ci that has no lead edge void only when printing, resulting in fuser paper jams. The lead edge void is fine on copy.We can find no way of adjusting the lead edge void on print only.

The customer also has a TASKalfa 400ci in the same office that has the correct void on print and copy.

We have updated the firmware and the driver to no avail.
We have also tried setting the 300 up using the existing 400 Driver.

Kyocera have informed us that you can not adjust the lead edge void on print only.

    Any ideas please??

Follow adjustment procedure on page 2-4-9 of the service manual in order. Do not skip any steps.

Specifically it's simulation U402 that controls the size of the lead edge void for printing. If you think it's possible that someone may have been fiddling around in the FRPO settings, an engine reset will bring all those settings back in line. But be aware that you'll loose your scanner settings, addressbook, and TCP/IP settings, so write that stuff down or back it up, as appropriate. And you'll probably have to do a color calibration too.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
