1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

That is good to know. Thanks! I also noticed... ummm, I mean a friend of mine told me... that if you switch the black and white usb cables that plug into the engine pcb on a 250ci series, the copier freezes at the welcome screen.I must have a prodigious quantity of mind; it takes me as much as a week sometimes to make it up - Mark TwainComment

On the TASKalfa 250Ci series the white and black USB cables connect to the Main PWB not the Engine board The engine board is mounted behind the main PWB. The main board is also labled as to where each of these connectors is to be connected. Locking up at start up screen can be caused by almost anything that interrupts the data between main board and the operation unit. The F-DIMM's, usb cables, etc.
