A few weeks ago this machine had a C6030 code. I tried to reset but code came right back. Installed new fuser unit and reset. Was working great for last few weeks. Customer called this morning and machine now has C6000 code. I had them try and reset over the phone but it wont reset. The service manual isn't much help. Any help appreciated. Thank you

Re: Mita KM C2520 error code C6000
Something has caused another blown thermal fuse, in the fuser.
Could your customer be copying with the lid open, or heavy fill edge-to-edge images? Those prints tend to roll up into the fuser and get between the thermistor and the heat belt, resulting in C6xxx codes.
Some general purpose things to check are:
Has the fuser temperature been adjusted up? Set to default.
Are the fans operating, blowing in the correct direction, and filters clear?
Is your customer running unusual media type or size?
Unfortunately for you, these fusers come as assemblies only. No individual parts sold. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks blackcat. I will check out what you posted.
I know this fuser is only sold as complete unit. Is it possible to take apart and rig with a standard thermal fuse? Have you ever tried to take unit apart?
I may have to try and repair since they just paid $600 for the fuser 2 weeks ago.
Thanks againComment

It depend how lucky you are. If it's the thermal switch on the frame, I hear that it's the same as the one on the Falcon III. Unfortunately, the one that usually blows is inside the heat belt. Not much fun to change, if you've got a scrap one to install. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
