    KM-3060 Touch not working

Guys I work for a company that buys used machines, machines for revendelasreviews.
Arrived here in the shop 6 KM-3060 to be revised. When you update the firmware of them the touch screen was not working, I tried two procedures that I found here in the forum, but were unsuccessful.

Would anyone can help me with some more tips?

Could be a bad connection between the operation panel and the controller or a defective touch panel (2H094270). Did you have the correct firmware on the USB-stick?

Yes, I have two versions of the firmware: version 2.20D and version 2.49.

We also thoughtit might be somethingconnected properly, but we sawthisanddecided to trypossible solutions, howeverwe do not succeed.

Using the firmware 2.20D. As soon as I finish off, remove stick, turn it again, and she is on screen "loading program" after that it appears the message error "CFB32."

Found the following regarding CFB32 :

Blue back screen. Can not go into the maintenance mode.

There is a possibility that the controller is not starting up

The reason for this is that suspecting the Main software written

failure, Code DIMM connection failure, System file damage on

        HDD

There is a possibility that connection failure between panel and

communication line of the controller PCB is occurred

There is a possibility of the problem for Panel PCB

BTW, the latest firmware version is 03.00.0020.

Version 2.20D was obsolete 3+ years ago. Version 2.49 is the most current.

I generally use CF cards for firmware whenever possible. I don't really know if it makes a difference, but I haven't crashed a machine in years.

Was the screen working before you flashed the machine? If no, it is a common failure item to have to replace the touch panel. A conductive adhesive is used to attach the ribbon cable to the circuit board on the glass, and high temperature/humidity causes that adhesive to let go. I replace a lot of these touch panels in the spring and fall. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

From memory I beleive CFB32 CFB36 relate to HDD failure.
            Usually a sluggish writing/reading HardDrive.
Replace the HDD with a working HDD for a test.

Have you changed the DIMM on the keyboard Panel PCB,
and the DIMM on the main board at the back of the machine ?
These are two totally different individual DIMM's they cannot be swapped else you will get a CFB error code.
You must replace each DIMM with its correct replacement DIMM.

Try to install one only firmware module at a time. Remove all other firmware modules off the USB stick/CF Card.

The keyboard firmware module may take a long time to finish updating so be patient............................
