    Can a KM5050 rotate sort like this?

    Have a customer who just replaced a Ricoh Aficio 700 with a KM5050.

    I have it set up to rotate sort with 1 drawer 11x8 1/2 and the other 8 1/2x 11 and it rotate sorts fine when copying.

    He wants it to "rotate sort" when printing from his email, a document with 20 attachments so each attachment comes out in the opposite direction. He says he had the Ricoh set up the same way and it was doing it.

    I couldn't find a setting on the 5050 that would provide this, am I missing it or can it not do it?

    Give this PreScribe command a try:

    !R! JOBP 11,1; EXIT;

    enables rotate collation for printing. If you need to reset it to Off:

    !R! JOBP 11,0; EXIT;

    If you need help sending PreScribe commands see post #7 of this thread:

    Let me know if it works for you. =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        The thing that I wonder about, is if the machine will rotate sort only multiple sets of prints, or if it will rotate sort single pages of multiple print jobs. I'm curious. =^..^=

            I emailed the instructions to the customer but he said he would have to get his IT guy to try it.

              I guess I thought you were doing it. This seems like it's a little beyond the skill level of most endusers. =^..^=
