Hey, does anyone have an idea of what causes the main motor drive gear to get chewed up?
it seems there would have to be a major motor malfunction or the machine to keep going while the fuser is stopped?
Ive replaced one and am going to have to do it again, this time i have a new motor as well, but the old one looks good, the worm gear does not appear to be marred ... ive been told the gears under the fuser can get locked up? but they seem to spin freely... can the bearings freeze up under the heat? this would make sense except they seem to be in good order..
any insight would be cool.
