Yellow line when scanning using the document processor, no lines when scanning off glass any ideas?

Yellow stain on the slit glass? Remove the slit glass and hold it up to the light, or place it over white paper. The dirty spots become painfully obvious. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

some of these machines will have colored lines appear in your scans.
extremely annoying and hard to fix.
setting scan setting to BW won't help.
you'd think a copy would have the exact same lines only black, but no it just effects scans.
i have read on dnet that you need to order the color calibration chart from kyo.
also, crack open the optics and clean all the mirrors.Comment

Hi, I have had several FS-1128's cause a line only seen on scan's.
I adjusted U68 from 0 - 20 this adjusts the DP read position.
This cured all of the m/c's I have seen with this fault.
If it happens from the glass also then there may be other adjustments
if cleaning does not solve the issue
