Hi everyone, I have a customer with a Kyocera KM-3060 that has intermittent problems with the document feeder. We are trying to find a part # and diagram for the cable connector that connects the document feeder to the back of the machine. Does anyone know where I can get that info? Thanks!

Re: Kyocera KM-3060 Cable Connect Issues
I've never ordered one ... but from looking at the DP-670 manual I'd venture an educated guess that you're correct.
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Can you send me just that page of the manual that shows the diagram and the part #? We've already ordered the wrong part # once. I'm at crystal_data@hotmail.comComment

You're in luck. I'm not always so close to the manuals.
The pix are deceiving. It's the name that confirms it: INTERFACE CABLE

Tech support is a last resort when you've already exhausted your own resources. If anything useful comes of it I'm pleasantly surprised. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

One other thing... have to dig it up... there was a bulletin issued about a ground strap... or extra wire to eliminate random static...Comment

Re: Kyocera KM-3060 Cable Connect Issues
If it's a separation issue you're addressing, have you tried the new style separation kit (303K594080)?
If the pickup roller is not raising, it's common to see either a broken torque limiter spring (3HL07110), or a cracked pickup roller holder (303K507051).

Re: Kyocera KM-3060 Cable Connect Issues
We've had to replace the cable on one of these also.
BTW, in the past, I was told by the hotline, they don't have access to the parts manuals. I called to verify a part I was unclear on, and they said Dallas does parts & NJ does service.Comment
