HI GUYS,im here again with that problem of my machine kyocera km3050,i have downloaded the service manual of the machine and was going through the manual i did get the page which talks about the firmware update,if i switch on the machine it shows a massage,"LOADING PROGRAM"and it remains like that,please help im stranded.is there any other ways of updating the firmware?

What method are you using to load the firmware? Compact Flash or USB?
If CF,
1) have you formatted the card on a FalconIII machine?
2) have you extracted the firmware and copied it to the root of the drive?
If USB,
1) is it 500MB or less in size, without other files or programs running?
2) is the firmware extracted and copied to the root of the drive?
Once the memory is prepared:
1) is the machine turned completely off before installing the memory?

1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Just unzip the firmware to a blank FAT32 usb drive ( I've done plenty of these for Kyocera) , it will create a folder on your usb drive containing the firmware files. Open that folder, press Ctrl+A on your keyboard, for Select All, Cut, and navigate to the root of the drive , Paste..
Delete the empty folder on the drive. Safely eject it. Turn the main power off on the machine. Plug in the USB drive on either the side of the panel or the USB port on the back, either way, and then turn the main power on the copier. It should start updating automatically, and it will stop at a screen informing you of the update results. Power off machine. Unplug USB drive. Power On.
If the machine still doesn't get past Program Loading, after firmware update, I remember one of my buddies fixed this by re seating dimms or something like that. Sorry I cant be more specific, I only do firmware, hdd, network scan, and print driver issues, and HyPAS, etc...Comment
