We've learned the hard way about cheap toner. If you don't want to change the developing unit, vacuum out the unit and put in OEM toner, you might have some issues early on, but they will disappear, unless the develping unit was damaged somehow by the cheap toner.
If at first you don't succeed, redefine success

Thank you. I will do this and purge this crap out.

I do not work on the TA's , but , if this is a dual component system .... you will not be able to vacuum the dev ...
You would probably do better to install a new Dev , and charge them for that DV and your time . Them ask them if they want to keep using the generic toner or buy OEM toner from you .

P.S. They killed the warranty by using generic toner .......
And , I bet this is not covered by contract either ....

I checked the event log and there was a register for the cartridge entered, Not a blank one. I know we cannot totally clean out the dev unit but just the toner in transition.
The boss said to try to salvage it without a dev change so I cannot argue. I think maybe he supplied the toner!!! Thanks for all your help.

            Re: Cheep toner

I know generic toner is a little different chemically, but I have successfully depleted wrong color toner installed on the VoyagerE series (without changing the developing unit):

Install correct color toner cartridge. Run ~75 100% fill single color prints to deplete the incorrect toner in the developing unit. Perform color calibration. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
