    KM-c2525e Touch screen info needed

i d like to know if anyone has used the aftermarket control panels that were offered by a European company, that posted on here...is it
    cost effective after shipping charges?
    is it just the tablet?

    Also
i have a accnt with a km c2525e that the screen wont respond again, fussed with it 6 months ago and got it running, and need to go today.
my question is i have the tablet but cant find the sponges or sheet,"they are somewhere",can i do this repair without the sheet n sponges?
    thnx

If the sheet is not damaged why replace it. If you are careful and patient you can remove and re-use the sponges.

The sheet is entirely cosmetic. If it's still transparent, and not ripped go ahead and continue to use it. The main reason I replace it, is that if you're going to charge $250 to replace a tablet, it should look new, right?

The sponges can start to disintegrate with age. For the < $1.00 each, I replace them. It's not worth the bother to fuss with them. That's just me.
The sponges must be present however. Think about it this way: at $150.00 per hour, your time is worth $2.50 per minute. If you spend 10 minutes or $25 saving $4 in parts, how does that make sense? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        thnx for the replies..
i got it running "again" w/out changing anything..
the only reason i wasnt changing the sponges and such is
        not based on $..
i had a complete set but cant find it all...
and if i needed to get them running for more than simple copying
i had to make a decision..i will reorder the sponge seals and sheet
        and do it right..
        thnx again..
