Any way to clean the charge rollers in these models to eliminate the lines in color copies?Or do we just need to change the roller?

I use glass cleaner, it works well. Just remember to clean off Amy residue before you turn the charge roller to clean the next bit. Spit also works well.....
The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

Ditto that. Ammonia-free glass cleaner, and wipe completely dry. Don't overscrub the surface. If the outer skin of the charge roller rips you're screwed. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I use water to clean them. When the black layer is worn through you have to replace the roller.Comment

just about anything will help, I use glass cleaner a lot but I use it for everything. Won't make it new again but will help a not-too-picky customer's CQ and save you a couple bucks.Comment
