    Taskalfa 4551ci scan searchable PDF?

Hi, I've just installed 14 of these machines, replacing old biz hub machines, the biz hubs used to scan pdf's as "searchable" ... What are my options to get the kyocera's to scan as searchable PDF?

You'll need Kyo-Capture software/server. Your salesman will have the information. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I believe there is an option for this model, it has a cost though, you just enter a license code and it makes OCR,d PDF,s

There is a scan extension kit that makes the machine OCR the PDF's to make them searchable. This should only be used for limited OCRing as the machine is processing the jobs. DMS link can be installed on a server or workstation & does the OCRing on the computer. It's actually a little cheaper than the scan extensionkit & would be the better option.
        Hope that helps !
