In your opinion, what is the best cleaner to use for cleaning rollers?? At our company, we use a product called Cut-Thru. Is a good product but it's $20 a can and you can only get it by the case. So all suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for reading my post.

Re: Cleaner for Rollers Suggestions
I use Contractor's De-Solv-It:
I've heard good things about WD-40, but don't use it myself. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Cleaner for Rollers Suggestions
when i downsized my tool bag, extra cleaners were the first to go.
bottom line is if build-up is causing jams, anything including water/windex will work to clean it off.
this magical revjunator stuff is for the birds. if the tires are bald, replace them.Comment

Re: Cleaner for Rollers Suggestions
WD-40 is good for a lot of rollers, but not so good for others (they will gum up and melt). If unsure, try cleaning up rollers that you are throwing away anyway, and see the results."You can't trust your eyes, if your mind is out of focus" --Comment

Re: Cleaner for Rollers Suggestions
While soapy water usually works the best for dirty paper feed and transport rollers, I'm one of those people who carries WD40 for cleaning those rollers as it doesn't freeze in the winter. It actually cleans those rollers pretty well.
Just don't use it on worn out rollers, it doesn't work at all on those.
Also, don't use WD40 on charge rollers, as I've found that stupid and wrong things will happen then. I've never had the guts to try WD40 on transfer rollers, so you're on your own there.Comment
