[CQ] 250ci randomly dropping color at lead edge.. sample attached

The first page is the correct print, the following are samples of the anomaly. Transfer belt replaced but the issue persists. Any ideas?

It looks to me like magenta is dropping out crossfeed. You may have a seized magenta developing unit, or a damaged drive coupler. Most likely the main drive for the color developing units is intact, because the yellow carries across where the magenta is missing.

Or you may have a dislodged primary transfer contact spring on the HVT. It can be viewed with the primary belt unit out, but you cannot fix it without removing the HVT. If you need to remove the HVT, I have made up a checklist so that I could get everything reinstalled properly. It's a major affair, and 2+ hours of fun.

It's also possible that you may have a failing drum drive or developing drive motor. There's a bulletin on the topic, and new style motors available. The motors are fairly easy to change. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
