3051ci after a calibration 2 bands down copy

After a Calibration or toner curve adjustment cycle machine leaves 2 bands 1 inch in on both edges of the next few copies and they are about 1/2 inch wide. You can see colors in the band on first copy then its all brownest. Looks like belts not cleaning.
Running sky shot or full color copies the are fine.
Firmware is up to date. I've replaced the transfer belt and roller as will as main pwb. Vacuumed image units and cleaned laser glass.

Post a sample where it's clearly visible.

I'm going after the charge rollers on this one. If not, then maybe the drums. Since you said full color copies are ok, I would go after the black first. The transfer belt, I think would put this stuff on the back side of the page, not the front.

This is coming from transfer belt, the question is why, since you already replaced it together with transfer roller. Color calibration happens on transfer belt, but in your case it fails to clean it off after its done. Do you have any C2770 codes in the event log? I would double check and clean/vacuum all the contacts inside that are touching the transfer belt.

I agree with the others. Clearly the color registration marks on the primary transfer belt are not being cleaned off. It's fairly easy to remove and re-prime the primary transfer blade. You may find that there is some packing foam jammed up under the blade. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The guys are correct. Take out the primary belt, & you'll see it matches up perfectly the sensors.
              Hope that helps !

Believe me, I'm not disputing the transfer belt as being the problem. I just want to learn.
How are the stripes, that are not being cleaned off the transfer belt, printing on the front side of his pages, since
it is the back of the page that faces the transfer belt ??

The image transferred to the paper comes from the primary belt below the fusing unit. This is where the patches come from & line up with the sensors for registration/process control.
                  Hope that helps !

Holy crap, I just realized what you are saying, thank you!!

I was in the middle of a brain freeze, I guess. I've been working on so many
smaller color machines, that my brain was stuck on the paper riding with the transfer belt
as the image is being transferred and forgetting that on this one and many others, the image
is formed on the transfer belt first then transferred to the paper with the transfer roller.
I need to change my medication.

It has NEW transfer belt and roller, I also removed the cleaning section and vacuumed both the old one and the new one. Once the copies/prints clean up it runs great till next calibration or toner curve( gray scale adjustment).
This is a new machine less than 1000 copies.

                        Hi

Does it have an attachment kit ak731?

The older km3050 had a problem with the supplied screws that mount the left hand side rails being too long and touching the transfer belt assy.

Its a long shot but you have ruled out the transfer belt and roller, so its something else.
