Re: CS 250ci intermintent quality problems
If you're using OEM toner, the yellow RFID chip isn't being read. The other bands are from the registration/process control patches.
More than likely, you'll need to replace the primary belt. -

Re: CS 250ci intermintent quality problems
That still looks like transfer waste. Is the tube clogged? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: CS 250ci intermintent quality problems
I haven't worked on Kyocera/Copystar model machine for ages.
Looks like excess toner buildup on dev rollers. Does this machine do only black copy/printing?
The colour dev tanks could be binding up causing excess toner problems also? Take the dev's units out and vacuum away any loose toner hanging around. Shake the dev units side-to-side or give the dev units a gentle hit with the palm of your hand to loosen any binding dev, then wind the dev rollers to check for even density.
Did you replace the ITB with an entire new unit or refirb the old unit with a new belt?
Have you done a Gray Scale calibration?

Re: CS 250ci intermintent quality problems
The primary transfer belt unit only comes as an assembly. I've had a few apart ... actually fixed one that had transfer roller shift codes. The others I just opened up to learn from. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

Re: CS 250ci intermintent quality problems
I've pulled a couple of these ITB units apart, not much fun. I've cleaned the ITB internal rollers and fixed CQ intermittant faults. Yes we've always replaced them with a new complete assembly.Inauguration to the "AI cancel-culture" fraternity 1997...
