Pro C5100 creasing paper

Hi guys, having issues with a pro c 5100 machine, where the customer is getting intermittent creased paper, both A4 and A3. Being intermittent it makes it very difficult to pin point the source of the problem.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

When it is always creasing, you can interrupt the process at a certain time and look where the creasing starts...
When it is creasing not al the time, it is a little more difficult, but it has something to do with uneven aligning (springs or worn out bushings) or a blockage in the path...
I presume it creases with all the trays? Disassemble the finisher to count this out.

If the crease has a developed and fused image in it when you open it out, it's between transfer and fusing. If it doesn't, it's before transfer. Either one eliminated half the machine. Has the machine been set up correctly with that media in the paper library?

Try changing the height of the transport bed.

With regards to changing the height of the transport bed... I presume it tells you somewhere in manual how to raise and lower it?

What sort of millage is this machine on, fuser belt etc PM life?
