I had a call on a mpc401, did the call went to check the pm #'s and my service pass codes did not work IE: clm/107/c or clm/143/c/c can some tell me the new pass code, or is this machine screwy???

Were you using the RED stop key or the CLEAR key, usually either BLUE or GREY and the same size as the numeric keys. Factory service mode should still work if you use the correct key.
ok im using the clear key not the stop key, and so now its Y? 806102 c ? what is y? you mean the 9 key? please explain, and im only into the 5502 and older, just now getting into the newer 401, 5503/4 ect

Well yes but this info has been all over this site for years now & lets face it when you're a newbe you don't have time to wait for a reply when you're standing at the MFD needing to get into SP mode!!!!!!

I found the answer in 30 seconds by putting "ricoh service mode new" into google. It's not exactly secret information so trying to hoard it won't help.
