You can take one of the pressure sensors from a old bridge unit and make a reset button.
That and 1.5 meter / 6feet wire so you can reatch the main power button. One of the old fuses to take the part of were the wire goes in to.
1. Open the Fusing unit.
2. Put the fuse reset button in the fusing unit. Do not press the sensor button!
3. Put the Fusing unit back in to the MFP
4. Do manual New unit reset (Fusing unit) under SP3xxx (Dont remember the exakt SP code)
5. Shut off the MFP
6. Push down the button when you start the MFP.
7. Start the MFP. Extremely important! Do not hold it in for more than 5 second or you risk burning the mainboard.
8. After that the SC554-01 will be gone.
9. Take out the fuse reset button and assemble the fusing unit.

This reset method is simply not worth the risk! If the fuser sleeve is near PM life simply replace it & fuse that comes in the box.
It might reset the code but if the cause of the code is not correct first, it will come back. SC 544 is a center thermopile overheat detection. When you turn the machine on, step 7, do so with the door open. Enter SP and monitor the fusing center temperature. With the door open, warm up not yet started, it should be about 27 degrees C and not rising. If it is at or above normal operating temperature, the thermopile is bad. If it is rising like it would with the door closed, the triac is shorted, replace the power supply.
