    ricoh mp5054 sc 687-00

    is there a fix for this? Machine runs a few copies then throws this code , ill i have to reference is turn it off then turn it back on, Ive unplugged it for 15 mins, same story
    any ideas please, thankx

      Not much info on this code.
      might be worth reseating the conntroller connections & ram.
      Flash firmware is worth a try.

      Description

      PER Not Received Error Unable to receive the PER command from the controller.
      Causes

      Communication error
      Remedy

          Try re seating all USB connections.

              We have the same issue on a 4054. Any resolution?

                  Never mind. It's the HDD. We have a couple of cases logged internally for this issue.

                      1) try to make copies with the HD disconnected
                      2) try to do some sp 801-xxx
                      3) update the firmware
                      4) try to disconnect and reconnect the various boards, I never liked those microconnectors
                      5) remove momentarly , fax board, or other option accessories
