Re: RICOH MUSIC
They let you train on a Pro C and you haven't found out what MUSIC is ???!!!!! eeek!!!!!
Basically MUSIC (don't ask me what the acronym stand for, I've forgotten) is drawing lines and patches all over the ITB then measuring the distance between the lines for registration and the density of the patches for toner control.
I think you better sit down and have a long read of the manual. At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem. -
Re: RICOH MUSIC
I think you don't really have to know the specifics of what MUSIC is, just what Lagonda said is close enough. If you ever have a problem related to it, I guess it's time to hit the books for specifics. Isn't that the way we fix things everyday, go along with routine stuff until something unusual pops up, then hit the books to learn how it works so we can figure out why it's not.Comment

Re: RICOH MUSIC
I just come off a job site with huge industrial machines that span across 9 (16mtr) storeys. 200 flights of stairs to the top...ouch my knees.
The background repetition noise creates, what could be described as, a rhythmic song chorus in your brain; you begin to sing to yourself in time with the rhythmic background tones. The tones almost become hypnotic and trance like when you work alone for a hour or more.
I said to the boss , that machinery rhythmic tone almost has a piper snake-charming effect on people...Inauguration to the "AI cancel-culture" fraternity 1997...
