Ricoh MP2554 fuser in an MP2555

has anyone tried to install an MP2554 fuser in an MP2555 or vice versa with any success?
Parts manual shows fuser sleeve as different part # but I cannot find any explanation as to why it has a different part number?

hello, in my opinion the group would be able to install it but it will give error code type sc54x, since the pressure roller thermistors are with different codes.

I have done this and it works with no issue at all.

Unknown as to why the part numbers are different as well as all thermostors, thermofuses have exact same part numbers

I have even installed a 54 complete fusing unit into a 55 with no issue at all
