    SP C231SF

I have an SP C231SF that is cycling on and on, for one minute and two,
after a print has been sent. It is very unconvinient to wait for a print so much.
I thought that it could be the fuser temp. so i replaced fuser unit with a new one.
Toners are almost full and settings are normal. Meter is under 10K. pages.
Internal prints, config. page, test page needs a minute and more to be printed.
Machine is USB connected, accepts the file immediately, but stays on "printing" such a long time.
    Any idea please?
    Thanks in advance...

Sounds like something is not set correctly in SP mode. If it is waiting before feeding the first sheet of paper while the main motor is running, it could be the setting for fusing unit idling. If t he cycling is occurring after the last page is printed, it could that it is set to run process control after every job.

try cleaning the transfer belt sensor, update the firmware / driver, I have had cases of slow printing in case of low toner.

These are cheap Mickey Mouse copiers and this is normal but try updating the firmware

          They are not that bad.
drums/toner cartridges can be refilled and outside of being a lot of plastic I think that engine is a good design..
It is no mpc401 but for small one man office they work..

ok but if the fusing unit fails, repair is not recommended

i dont buy many new parts anyway and keep a stock of working pulls "LABELED" wth meter and use them.
Most customer would be happy paying half for a good working pull.

Firmware is updated to the latest versions,
both Engine (01.06) and Main (v1.31).
I will check Sp settings for Fuser Idling,
but Menu seems to be very poor...

i agree menu sucks but it is a limited use color all in one...
I had issues wth someone wanting to do duplex with all kinds of options..
I pulled it and ate the difference and gave him a mpc305 and have not heard any issues..
also make sure your spooling settings are set right too under the printer..
