Hello guys,
while using my printer I received error code sc554-00.


Do you know what it refers to and how can I solve it?
Is it possible to solve with the reset of the printer?

Something wrong with your fusing unit.
You'll need someone to figure out why the fuser is throwing the code, and to get into service mode to reset the code.

Have you ever tried looking in the service manual?
Better yet, since you appear to be an end user, call an authorized Ricoh trained tech.

OK looks like fuser over heated you will have to replace hot roller & pressure roller and bearings and thermistors & cleaning roller & pawls good luck

can you please upload PDF's of the problem.. what is that orange strip on top of fixing unit? did someone forget to remove tape? It LOOKS like part of the fuser roller/belt.

From your picture I can see the coating has peeled off the pressure roller. This will need to be replaced along with the hot roller & thermisters.

Considering the lack of training and experience it might be better to replace the entire fusing unit. Initial problem may have been a shorted triac on the PSU or a problem with the BICU(if he had a service manual he would have known that). In either case it will blow the new fusing unit if not fixed. See if you can buy an operational used MP2501 for use as a parts machine. Might be less expensive than a BICU.

You need to replace at least press roller, because its coating damaged.
If the problem is overheatting you must replace thermistors and thermostats too.
Try to find what caused this damage.
As i can see you remover fuser unit from machine so send it to a Ricoh technician to do alla the job
