    Ricoh Pro C5100s cyan issue.

I'm hoping someone can help with an issue I am having with our c5100s. It started with error code SC320-02. I ended up replacing the IOB bored and I haven't had the code show up again. However the cyan unit started acting weird. It started have a banding problem I've never seen before. The more copy's you make the worse it gets. I have included two images of what is doing now. Any help would be appreciated.

Forgot to say that both images are from deferent PCDU. The first with the worst banding is what should be the good unit.
I had replaced the cyan developer recently. Current count for developer is at 12500. The development unit is 690000.

The latter is an old unit that had a banding issue that put in to see if it got rid of the problem. But no luck there.

Replace the developer. Do a good job getting all of the old developer out, keep turning the unit and vacuuming till it's all out. Bang it, shake it, turn it upside down, clean the doctor blade, then vacuum some more.

Why did you replace the IOB for SC320-02 ?

Did you read the service manual for this code, it states "Cyan Development power pack shorted"

I had swapped the power pack out first and still code. Once I changed the IOB it hasn't show up again.

Did you have this cyan quality issue before you had the error code? If not what did you replace immediately prior to getting the cyan issue?

Before the SC320-02 there was no Quality issues. First tried swapping the power pack, no luck there. Then replaced the IOB and that fixed the problem with code. But that's when the quality issue started. I then swapped the Development unit out with an old one that had a banding issue to see if it was the development unit. But again had the same issue. Just found out if I run the force tonner supply for cyan it goes away for one solid copy of cyan on 8.5x11 LEF. But starts getting worse the more copy's I run.

Ok, I would go back & retrace your steps when replacing the IOB maybe you left a connection off or loose.

I've gone over the connections multiple times and did it again just to be sure. But all connections look good.

SC320-02 is a Development Power Pack Output Error (C). And the CQ issue is with the Cyan. It is an output short, most likely in the development unit but could wiring from the power pack to the development unit. Replace the Cyan development unit.
