Ok , cleaned all the feed path and sensors and checked gears for cracks and test tons of pages and it works fine then next day the client says the same 700-01 code shows up randomly. Any other ideas?

This might sound crazy, but check the power outlet the machine is plugged into. If you have a line tester, even better. If the line voltage coming into the machine is 115 VAC or lower, that might be the cause of your random error.
I've had it happen with a C3503 , and an MP6002 with a finisher attached. Random finisher errors, only to find out the outlet was at 113 VAC, and there were other devices on the same circuit (shredder, small space heater). When one of those devices kicked on, the main board was starved for power for a moment, and the accessories lost communication with the main controller.
Replace the sensors under the lift table as the code indicates the problem is there. I'm not sure why you are ignoring the specific code. Ricoh internal diagnostics are pretty good these days. I have had to replace these more than once. If I remember correctly, also tighten the screws holding the lift plate to the shaft.
Power seems ok. This time they left it in error code and I noticed the lift table was in the up position and not reset back down. After power cycle it went back down. Both sensors and motor and gears for this operation all seem fine when am tested and inspected now. I cleaned them also to make sure. Baffling these modern machines eh? Lol

Not too baffling. Replace the sensors, including the upper limit sensor located at the rear side of the adf on the frame. You can see it when you open the adf cover. The lift table moves up, lifts the primary feed assembly up and stops when the flag blocks the sensor. If it is driving past and coding, the sensor is most likely bad or getting weak.

SPDF D642 Parts manual? I have gone through my manuals and can not find one for the parts for the SPDF anywhere. Does anyone have one ? I seem to have every parts and service manual for ricoh and not that one of course! I want to order the lift motor and sensors for that unit.
I never had to replace one of those, so I'm not sure, but it looks to me it's the stepper motor mentioned here. You need to look at it and compare to the one you have.

Thank you!
If you are in North America and are an authorized Ricoh dealer, just pull up the TSRC page for the MP C4502. It will be listed with the other parts catalogs. Or go to rfg-esource and search D642. You can also search for rfg053220 on rfg-esource or if elsewhere in the world on Myricoh.
