    MP 6001SP WEB MOTOR

I have a web motor running continuously, since i switch on the machine.
Harness has been checked and it is not grounded somewhere, so i think
it is the BICU failed. Does anyone came across this failure?
By the way, i would like to ask where are the Schematics, part of Service
Manual located? I am having access to My Ricoh site but i cannot find it, nowhere!!
Thans in advance for any help...

The Schematic is located in the Point to Point diagram.

the point to point will give you connection information between boards and major components. If you want schematics for the boards you will need to become an authorized board repair facility.

You asked for schematics. That means board level wiring. The Point to Point is a separate document. RFG E-source number in the US is 039081. Check the PSG for your region to see if they list the order number for your area. Try on the last page. If you cannot find a source, put a request in the Service Manual Request Forum.

That's show what I was thinking. Leakage to ground anywhere from the motor all the way back to CN203 B2 will cause the problem. Check where the harness from the web unit passes across the bottom of the fusing unit. If it is making contact with the top of a hex head screw it can leak there but the damage might not show on visual inspection. I have had it happen to the leads going to the web end switch and cause a false web end message less than 24 hours after replacing the web. double sided tape and a pice of rubber cut from an old inner tube corrects the problem.
