I've seen the wrong supplies sent to customers or even the wrong model put into a dispatch system so a tech shows up expecting a different machine, even the wrong drivers getting installed can cause an issue: customer sees colour as an option only to find they're using a mono machine.

                    Those at least make a degree of sense: larger the number, the bigger the vehicle. Also, the higher the letter the better the vehicle class.

                    Reusing model numbers between mono and colour machines like Ricoh has makes things much more difficult.
