    [Error Code] Ricoh MP2555

    Good day all,

Please can someone help me with the below error message. I am not really familiar with these machines and would like some assistance in resetting the error:

"Replacement Required: PCU Cleaning Unit: Cleaning Blade" is the message displayed. I have physically replaced the cleaning blade but not able to reset the counter and remove the error message.. Anyone able to help?

    Much appreciated

I'm afraid I would never post that on an open forum, it's a recipe for disaster if end users get into service mode and start playing

Many years ago Ricoh used to put that information in their service manuals, but when too many untrained individuals started getting pdf copies of the manuals and causing major damage to their machines, they discontinued the practice and a model or two later changed the code.

Yes not a good idea posting this on an open forum.

However a quick Google/youtube will provide you with this info.

Works out cheaper to rebuild than fit a complete PCU or PCDU.

Plus the drum & blade I always replace the charge roller & charge cleaning rollers.

Thank you very much for these. Please confirm if replacing the development unit - does it come with the developer or does that need to be ordered separately?
Or is this a mono-component machine that doesn't use dev anyway
