    ricoh mpc 4504 ex 312-01

    the machine only codes when doing two sided black and white works fine on two side color and will run black and white all day long single sided. I have replaced the black pcu (twice) and also replaced the transfer belt, and did a firmware update. Any clue ???

      Since you replaced the K PCU maybe an issue with the HV or IOB.

              The only difference that I can think of would be vibration from the duplex unit affecting a loose connection to the K high voltage.
