[CQ] Ricoh MP C2050 can't find hard drive

I am looking to remove the hard drive from the Ricoh 2050. Can anyone tell me where to find it? I found a small sim card, but I believe there is a hard drive also. Thanks

I googled the manual, but could not find anything in the manual to help. The copier no longer works and I am looking to dispose of it. But I need to take out the hard drive because I understand it contains copies of all the information copied on it over the years.

If it is the model with RPCS printing only, it does not have a HDD. If it does have one it will be located in the bottom right corner, as viewed from the rear, of the controller box.

That is strange, it is clearly shown in Replacements and Adjustments. Maybe you got an Owners Manual. There is a Service Manual Request forum here. Someone might send you one for free if you follow proper procedures.

"...all the information copied on it over the years..." ? (Really?) But...yes. If your client has any security concerns, you are right to surrender their HDD back to them.

Thanks so much to all of you who were so kind to help me out. I was able to locate the hard drive, with the instructions provided here, and I removed it so that I can dispose of the machine. I really appreciate all of you for helping!
