According to the parts catalog they are the same. Only the C2003/C2503 are different,

The lower end models don't have the shield in the sleeve to protect it from damage during long runs of SEF it has an actuator / flag attached that's the main difference.

Here is what we have been doing. The mpc4503 heat sleeve is different part from mpc3003. The difference is the wattage of the lamps. To only carry one part instead of 2, we only use the 4503 heat sleeve. Of course the mpc2003-2503 are totally different. Not entirely sure of this, but I think we have done it. Take a complete 4503 fuser and stick it into a 3003. The only difference is you need to swap the outer cover(s) because of the notch key position. Because of the wattage, you can put 4503 parts into a 3003, but not vice-versa. But this is only in USA

Nope. Lamp used in MPC3003 is lower wattage compare to MPC4503. Shield shape also different. Also, bottom cover is different, hence, you can't install in on wrong model.
