      Ciao, to begin with even if the macchine is different,but the concept is identical, I am going to tell you this bulletin, this is what the ricoh goes through...

      instead listen to me, try to check that group (pressure release motor unit), I had the same problem, and I solved it by carefully cleaning the one-way bearings on that component (shown in the photo) with a lot of alcool, a screw driver with over a rag and strong air blow,(the gears with the bearings, you have to pull them down obviously) removing the seigers.

      now it's been working for a year, and I haven't had any more problems...dont put oil or grease!
      the operation are pretty fast,
      a few pieces of plastic, a fan, and a few screws

      let us know...

        +1 on this. I usually spray some WD40 etc into the one-way bearing, you can access this from the RH door.

          Thanks for taking the time to post your suggestion. I believe this has fixed my SC569 on the MP C4504 & saved me a bunch of cash.
          The removal procedure of the Fusing Drive is only a little intimidating if you are not used to servicing Ricoh's.
          Just use your head and look for the shortcuts to the screws and it will work just fine.
