Re: Ricoh mpc 2003 Toner issue
First off the toner bottles for C2003 only has roughly half the expected yield of the C3503 toner, 9500 vs 18,000 color and 15,000 vs 29,500 for Black. That is because the target monthly volume is half that of the C3003. You aren't over working that C2003 are you? Also check how frequently the C2003 runs process control as that does use toner to apply the ID patches to the ITB and since that toner goes straight to the waste toner when the drums and ITB are cleaned. Final possibility is a bad toner density sensor on the development unit. -
Re: Ricoh mpc 2003 Toner issue
I can't believe it, two days is really too long! ... Isn't it that the customer has 2003 more, and someone was in a hurry to print, and swapped the full bottle for the empty one?...its happen to me, a couple of times."loneliness is an invention of the white man, when we are alone we talk to everything around us, we are never alone" (Ojibwa)Comment

Re: Ricoh mpc 2003 Toner issue
I think that the toner hopper issue did the opposite problem IIRC (toner end error with full bottles). Pretty odd problem here, especially if the print looks OK. I'd also recommend checking the PM parts and compare all voltages/TD settings/coverage informations with the other colors, perhaps something stands out.Comment
