    mp 2852 need to restart before can use
    can it be because the firmware need to be updated or other issues with the copier

    Open all the doors and turn it on. When it boots up, see if you can get in to service mode to check the SC codes stored.

      It can restart after it complete the process, when pressing restart on the display and will work again without any sc code shown.

        When it restarts access SP mode and see what the last SC code was then troubleshoot that issue. This assumes you are a tech.

          very little information... print/copy quality, machine status, as suggested have you checked in the sc code history

            When you get into SP mode, go to SP5-875-001 and change it to 1. After doing so that Functional Problem will no longer be shown. Instead the actual SC will be displayed and you can trouble shoot that.

              could be various factor, check eventualy sc stored in memory, but could be for example, bad pcdu conctact, grounded charge roller, bad transfer roller or out of side, and the bad hdd
