Good afternoon all. I am working on a Ricoh MP C2504. The issue I am having is that after making copies the copier does a home position check and then functional error problem screen comes up and then some but not all the time the "reset processing screen comes up. It then resets. After that the next time I make a set of copies it then does a HP check then SC569-00 comes on the screen and I then have to do a hard reset in "SP"'s. I have replaced the Flag sensor on top front left corner of copier fuser cavity,Fixing film unit,Pressure Roller add bearings, and the complete half section of the pressure portion of the fuser . Any help with this issue is appreciated . Thanks in advance!!

Grease the fuser pressure release cams, you should be bale to turn it by hard, but it is stiff.
Also spray WD40 into the pressure release one-way bearing, this can slip cause this error.
Updating the firmware can also help

the manual refers to a possible pressurization motor failure, but it has never happened to me, and personally I believe it is extremely rare for that type of motor to fail....clean everything e vai con dios

When you dissemble fusing drive, need to clean this part. Usually the shaft got something on it, making it hard to spin around👍 2Comment
