    MP C3003 Auto Color Calibration

    hello everyone

i am refurbing a machine for a client and upon attempting to perform Auto Color Calibration i get the following message

"You do not have the privileges to use this function"

i notice there is a login option when User Tools is entered, but there is no way to get the login info as the machine was bought used at auction

is there any way to disable admin login in SP mode?

    thanks in advance

I would check the admin settings in WIM and disable it from there. If I recall correctly it's Machine Admin that needs to be disabled

Normal SP NO. You have to be logged in to either User Tools or WIM as the administrator. Try admin with no password, that is the default. If that doesn't work then try supervisor with no password. Supervisor can do one thing and one thing only, change the administrator credentials. If you know how to enter Factory SP then SP 5846-046 will reset the both to default, no password.

          thanks for the response!

i've not used factory SP on machines with the 806182 SP entry, is it the same as for the machines with 107 SP entry?

as slimslob says, log in as supervisor, and expire all admin passwords

Have you tried the default log in?

                  admin & password blank.
