    SP 4520 Fuser Maintenance Kit

    Hi All,

I have been asked to get a Fuser Maintenance kit for a SP 4520DN printer. Part Number 407342. Called my contact for parts and he asked if I wanted the TL or L or S.

Haven't a clue the difference. Can someone enlighten me please?

    Thank you in advance.

    Getting board being retired!

If all else fails read the Service Manual!

If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it.

I have absolutely no idea either, however we order and fit all the maintenance items individually. Didn't know you could get a maintenance kit!
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

      Thanks Toner Munken,

The kit has the fuser, Feed rollers, Transfer roller, etc so I thought the kit would be a good PM for the machine. I look going your route.

      Much Appreciated.

I would if I could. Not connected to and service department now, Retired. I do have the Manual and Parts manual but it doesn't indicate those codes.

Most of the "Masintenance" kits that I have seen in the past were Printer kits not Fuser kits. THey included a new fusing unit, transfer roller/corona and feed roller set(s). THe TL, L and S may have to do with the number of feed trays.

Thank you for your information. I found that the kit was cheaper than individual parts. So i have ordered the kit.

If you can’t contribute, please consider not commenting. Your comment was not helpful. And in many threads you do belittle many honest techs. My opinion.

                  Hi Slimslob,

You were absolutely correct. Has to do with the paper trays.

and people pay good money for us to be trained. when others show up just wanting something for free. when a lil bit of research on their part goes a long ways....
