    Aficio MP c306/c307

    Good, in an Aficio MP C307, it tells me that one of the cartridges is not installed, I already cleaned the chip and also changed it. What can it be? Thanks

    Probably the contacts in the back of the machine or obstacles/dirt in that area.

        i have had a ricoh toner box that told me it fit the copier i was working on. come to find out it wasn't the correct toner. maybe the box was miss labeled from factory? when i opened the door to replace the toner, it told me the correct part # for a new toner. when i ordered that it worked fine.

          Is one on the toners slightly proud compare to the other 3 ?

            Btw. did he meant he changed the chip after cleaning it? This would indicate he's working with compatible stuff - In this case one might start with checking original Ricoh toner/chip.

              Could also be the toner housing is broken. Lovely job.
              It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                Could also be the sub hopper.
                We've had the boxes saying (usually) that it's out of yellow toner and it turns out to be a twisted auger in the sub hopper assy.
                Crap job.

                    For adding information to the thread.
                    Some time ago we received a call from a customer (not maintenance) who had detection problems with toner.
                    - Toner not detected or poorly installed.
                    - SC code in the historical, chip read failure.
                    - The device would crash and not let work.


                    It turned out that the Non-Original toner (purchased from another seller) on the front of the cartridge that must face in the hopper, the guides / fins were larger, causing the cartridge to end up being pushed, unlike the original.

                    The test of shaving this area was done to test, which allowed the device to work normally. But it was the perfect excuse to justify buying toner from us instead of a third xD
