mp c6004 secondary trans roller

My manual has this D2416212, but ive been reading its not the right one, does anyone have the correct part number for this? or is the D2416212 the correct part? manual has warning about the right one and wrong one but doesnt list prt nbs

Is it the PTR that is not the right one or the parts catalog? There are separate parts catalogs for the C3004/C3504 and the C4504/C5504/C6004. The number for the PTR listed in both is the same, D2416212.

The new parts manual has the updated part number, D0BQ6212

You can use either part number, same roller.

D0BQ, that would be the new number introduced with the IM C series.

If machine is printing on oversized paper the PTR is different.

Yeah I think that one is/was available as an "option" and was cheaper than the regular spare part IIRC.

I think you're talking about the "Imageable Area Extension Unit Type M19", I forget the exact pn.
If you use that one you should not forget to set SP2-400-001(Paper Transfer Roller Settings Width of Paper Transfer Roller) to "1".

Yes that's true - if you forget the SP you can't set up wider formats.
