u need modified exit roller and exit tray to fix this problem.. install tray heater also is the way to fix it

I HAVE 6 OF THESE MACHINES IN THE FIELD, ONLY TWO ARE CURLING TO PAPER, IVEE TRIED THE FUSER REPLACEMENT, PAPER SET THE PLAIN PAPER 1, THESE IS NO CHOICE FOR PLAIN PAPER TWO... LIKE MY MP C6004, IF THERE IS WHERE IS IT LOCATED?
OR IS THERE ANOTHER SOLUTION?IS IT IN THE EXIT ROLLER ASSMBLY AFTER THE FUSER? LIKE THE COLOR MACHINES THESE ARE SWITCHED WITH FIN OR NO FIN, THESE BOTH HAVE INTERNAL FINS, THE ONES THAT DONT CURL DONT HAVE FINS

Could you check SP 3260-001, 002, 003 with built-in Humidity sensor on these device, this will give idea about how much is the Humidity near that device.

FYI i did replace the fuser with a fuser from a machine that was not curling the paper, and the paper came out curled...

this smell of wrong exit roller type, try to check the shape of the black plastic roller above the delivery tray, must be "bombed", like a beans, not straight!

I must say that by cleaning the thermopile, I have never solved half problem, in any case since strange things can be seen! .... it could in some cases have some effect

thermopile was clean, i adjusted the temp up 10 degrees in all phases, and also set the fuser to plain paper 1 , its not completely flat, but its not Curling like it was,this machine replaced a KMBHC364, no curling what so ever,
so , the paper is the same as well, so the client is satisfied, "no jamming on big jobs" . all is good now.
Ricoh's seem to have little annoying quirks, at times, I just delivered a c6004ex, got a 672-00... machine would not turn off, had to un plug it, restart it, then turn it off again, then turn it on again. The 672 is screen not communicating with control board .... it only has 56k total impressions... anyway, i re calibrated the screen, (reset-806-182-#-#-C) service icon at the top left, touch that, scroll down touch screen, scroll down touch calibrate, then you have to hit the side button under the cover on the left side of the screen frame, f1-or f3 if it didn't work, mine did, exit out and whallah! so far so good, also the timer was set t0 1min before sleeping,, no good, set to 60min, all good today.

i agree with slim about the paper tray heater. but also where are the reams of paper stored? worst case if they order a full box at a time. leave the lid on the box to help with any possible moisture in the environment.

SP1113 set to 1 (no curl) this will make a difference.

I noticed that SP 1113 is listed as DFU which indicates"Design/Factory Use only: Do not touch these SP modes in the field."

you can change this its only for paper curl. all of my 54/55 series machines are set this way and i have been doing the im series also. i have been doing this since they have been introduced. you can set this to no curl. its not going to hurt anything.

in my case, a couple of years ago, I had tried to activate it, for test....then I discovered that they were the bad exit rollers, (the mf had the finisher before) and they hadn't changed them, after fixing the problem with the right rollers, I deactivated the function in a Henry ford style perspective "the less things there are on a car, the less chance it has of breaking"

any body have the part number for the original rollers ? we removed an internal finisher
