Does the C5100s have any JAVA apps installed? JAVA can take as much as 15 minutes to initialize and start apps. During that time about all you can do is view/print the counter.

I think that you can power cycle the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in. Power cycling can help resolve temporary issues and restore normal functionality.

Check the connections: Ensure that all cables connecting the printer to the power source and the computer are securely plugged in. Sometimes i used extract xz file mac, loose connections can cause unresponsiveness.

Both of these options have worked for me in the past

You can also reset the printer:

Locate the reset button on the printer or refer to the user manual for instructions on performing a factory reset. Resetting the printer will restore it to its default settings and can help resolve software-related issues.

I don't work on the Pro Series machines, but this is just plain BAD ADVICE even on the lower level models.
So I can only imagine the trouble it would create this model!
