When is the last time that the optics were cleaned. Dirty mirrors will cause a gray scale shift to the light side when the white reference is read.

Making the copies look under toned??? I believe I cleaned them about the time I brought copier in due to an error code. The environment is not dusty. Curious why machine is not calling for toner.

Try an internal print like a counter sheet or a test pattern. If they are not light, the toner is fine.

Hello

As i remember there is a RTB for faulty Pcu Units...they make light banding on a side. Maybe its the same problem

LED bank above the cartridge is probably dusted with toner...

I replace toner cartridge about a month ago (copier was requiring toner). Now copies are light(don’t have record of installation for number of copies made). Look through sp mode to force feed toner can’t find anything. Looking for solution. Google didn’t help. Thanks!!!

for first thing, try to clean the led array inside the machine (above the pcdu), and check the real open movement of the pcdu toner cover mechanism betweed the pcdu and the toner cartridge, if you have problem of plastic deformation, when you put the cartridge the cover dont open correctly, and the toner dont fall inside the pcdu, if you want, you can remove the whole toner cover part, work anyway
