    Ricoh IMC6000 Faded Printing

    Hey everyone!

Our printer is having a printing issue. I've attached a photo of 2 cards that were printed. One is the bad print-out and the other is the good print-out. I've noticed that when the cards print alone from the bypass tray, there is no issue but when they print alongside another sheet is when I am seeing this happening.

It is like the toner print is getting stuck to the toner, and is printed on the following document. See attached pictures, any idea why this may be happening? Possibly tray cardstock dimensions are wrong?

    Thanks for your help!

Let me guess, glossy paper. Most high gloss paper is intended for ink jet printers, not laser printers. I would say that the bypass is the only tray that is set to use PC/program settings for paper type and thickness.

It is a clear fixing defect, paper thicker than the common 80/100gr I would put in the bypass with thickness 3 or 4.

classic problem, go in driver setting, and change paper weight, and more important, switch speed to quality, in detail settings>priority of print (always in windows driver)
